"The wound is the place where the Light enters you." β Rumi
"The body keeps the score β
and it also holds the key to healing."
At Samarpan, psychological healing is not confined to a couch and a notebook. Our integrative approach weaves together depth psychology, somatic (body-based) practices, Vedic philosophical frameworks, and modern trauma science β creating a space where real transformation becomes possible. We work with the nervous system, the unconscious, the body, and the soul simultaneously, because true healing cannot happen in fragments.

You don't need a diagnosis to deserve support. If it hurts, it matters.
Not sure if your concern is listed? We believe every human experience deserves a compassionate witness.
Transformation requires attending to the mind, body, and spirit β never just one in isolation.
Depth psychology, cognitive-behavioural tools, and Vedantic inquiry to understand the patterns, beliefs, and unconscious programmes that shape your inner world β and how to rewrite them.
Trauma is stored in the body, not just the mind. Somatic and body-based approaches access the nervous system directly β releasing held tension, dysregulation, and trauma patterns that talk therapy alone cannot reach.
Much of human suffering is existential β a disconnection from meaning, purpose, and the deeper Self. We integrate transpersonal and spiritual dimensions of healing so that therapy becomes a journey toward wholeness, not just symptom relief.
Eight evidence-based and wisdom-rooted approaches β chosen for you, not applied uniformly.
Developed by Dr Peter Levine, Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-centred approach to healing trauma and stress disorders. It works by gently tracking physical sensations, completing interrupted survival responses held in the nervous system, and restoring the body's innate capacity to self-regulate.
Unlike traditional therapy, SE doesn't require you to re-tell or re-live your trauma story. Instead, we follow the body's wisdom β noticing where life force is held, where it is blocked, and guiding its natural release.
Best For
Trauma, PTSD, chronic stress, freeze states

"The body is the unconscious mind."
β Candace Pert
Rooted in the traditions of Jung, Hillman, and Adler, depth psychology explores the unconscious β the vast, largely uncharted territory that drives most of our behaviour, choices, and suffering. Shadow work, dream analysis, and archetypal exploration reveal what we have hidden even from ourselves.
At Samarpan, we weave Jungian depth work with Vedantic self-inquiry β making it uniquely suited to those seeking both psychological and spiritual understanding of their inner landscape.
Best For
Identity crises, repetitive patterns, spiritual growth
Depth
Long-term, transformative work
"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life."
β Carl Jung
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy identifies the automatic thoughts, core beliefs, and behavioural cycles that maintain anxiety, depression, and self-sabotage. Schema Therapy extends this by reaching the deep emotional patterns formed in childhood β the "schemas" that shape how we relate to ourselves and the world.
These are structured, evidence-based approaches offering concrete tools: thought records, behavioural experiments, schema mapping, and mode work that create measurable, lasting change.
Best For
Anxiety, depression, OCD, self-worth
Approach
Structured, goal-oriented, evidence-based
"You don't have to believe every thought you think."
Trauma freezes us in time β the nervous system remains stuck in the past even as the present moves on. Our trauma-informed work draws from Somatic Experiencing, TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises), EMDR-informed processing, and Polyvagal Theory to gently complete the survival responses that remain unfinished.
We move at the pace of your nervous system, honouring the body's innate wisdom throughout the process. Healing trauma is not about reliving β it is about resolving.
Best For
Complex trauma, PTSD, freeze, dissociation
Safety
Titrated, slow, and carefully paced
"The body remembers what the mind forgets β and the body also knows how to heal."
Yoga Nidra, often called "yogic sleep," guides practitioners to the hypnagogic threshold between waking and sleeping β a state of profound receptivity where deep psychological and neurological reprogramming becomes possible. Unlike sleep, you remain conscious; unlike meditation, the effort is effortless.
At Samarpan, Yoga Nidra is used therapeutically β seeding specific Sankalpa (intentions), releasing emotional residues, processing grief, and addressing depression and chronic fatigue at their energetic roots.
Best For
Depression, insomnia, exhaustion, emotional numbness
Format
Guided 45β60 min lying-down session
"One hour of Yoga Nidra equals four hours of sleep."
β Swami Satyananda
The breath is the only autonomic function we can consciously control β making it a direct bridge between the conscious mind and the unconscious body. Specific breathing techniques profoundly alter nervous system states, brain chemistry, and emotional landscapes.
Our breathwork draws from Pranayama (Nadi Shodhana, Bhramari, Kapalabhati), Holotropic principles, and modern nervous system science β used therapeutically for anxiety resolution, anger processing, grief release, and deep states of clarity.
Best For
Panic, anxiety, anger, grief, emotional blockages
Techniques
Pranayama, holotropic, box breathing
"Breath is the king of mind."
β B.K.S. Iyengar
Rooted in Advaita Vedanta and the teachings of Ramana Maharshi, Vedantic inquiry (Atma Vichara) addresses the deepest root of human suffering β the mistaken identification of the Self with the conditioned mind. When we discover who we truly are beyond the ego, the existential anxiety that underlies all other anxieties begins to dissolve.
This is ideal for clients who have done traditional therapy but feel something deeper remains unresolved β a sense of meaninglessness, existential dread, or spiritual longing that psychology alone hasn't touched.
Best For
Existential crises, identity, spiritual seekers
Tradition
Advaita Vedanta, Non-duality, Jnana Yoga
"Happiness is your nature. It is not wrong to desire it."
β Ramana Maharshi
Transpersonal psychology, pioneered by Maslow, Grof, and Wilber, integrates spiritual and transcendent dimensions of the human experience. It honours mystical states, peak experiences, spiritual emergencies, and the call of the soul as legitimate and important aspects of psychological health.
At Samarpan this framework is particularly valuable for clients navigating spiritual emergence, kundalini experiences, psychedelic integration, near-death experiences, or a deep longing for contact with something beyond the personal.
Best For
Spiritual emergence, integration, meaning-making
Tradition
Maslow, Grof, Wilber, Eastern traditions
"Psychology needs to acknowledge and study the farther reaches of human nature."
β Abraham Maslow
Every session is a sacred container β held with presence, patience, and deep professional care.
We begin with a no-obligation discovery call where you share what brings you to seek support. We assess fit, explain our approach, and answer your questions. There is no pressure and complete confidentiality from the very first moment.
The first full session is a comprehensive intake covering your history, symptoms, core wounds, relationship patterns, spiritual background, and goals. From this, a tailored therapeutic roadmap is created β choosing the modalities most suited to your unique constitution and presenting concerns.
Regular weekly or fortnightly sessions using your chosen modalities. Each session is held in a trauma-sensitive container with space for depth, silence, and authentic emergence. Between sessions, you receive integration tools β practices, journalling prompts, and somatic exercises.
At key milestones we review progress, celebrate transformation, and decide the path forward β whether to deepen the work, transition to monthly maintenance, or gracefully complete the therapeutic relationship. Many clients choose to continue as part of Samarpan's community.

Samarpan's psychological work draws from all three β and importantly, integrates them with somatic and Vedic frameworks. We do not offer clinical therapy (diagnosis-based, insurance-billable), but our work is deeply therapeutic in its depth and effect. It is best described as integrative holistic psychological support β suitable for personal growth, healing, and transformation.
Yes. All sessions take place via Zoom in a private, confidential setting. Our facilitators are trained to hold safe online therapeutic containers, including for somatic and trauma-based work. Many clients actually find the comfort of their home enhances rather than diminishes the depth of the work.
If you are in crisis, please contact iCall (9152987821) or Vandrevala Foundation (1860-2662-345) immediately β these are confidential 24/7 crisis lines in India. For those outside India, please contact your local crisis service. Samarpan's work is deep and transformative, but it is not crisis intervention. Please seek immediate support first, then reach out to us when you are stabilised.
No prior experience is needed. Vedantic inquiry and transpersonal psychology are presented practically and accessibly regardless of background. We work with clients who are deeply religious, secular, agnostic, and everything in between. What matters is genuine curiosity and openness β not any specific belief.
This is always individual. Many clients notice significant shifts within 4β6 sessions. For deep trauma work or long-standing patterns, 12β24 sessions may be more appropriate. We never keep clients longer than necessary, and we discuss the arc of the work openly at all stages. The work belongs to you.
Absolutely β and this integration is the heart of Samarpan's approach. The most profound results come when psychological work is held alongside Ayurvedic protocols (which balance the nervous system through diet and herbs), yoga (which heals through the pranic body), and meditation (which cultivates the witness). We actively recommend and design integrated protocols across modalities.
Whatever you are carrying β anxiety, grief, old wounds, confusion, or simply a quiet feeling that something deeper is calling β there is a space here for you. No diagnosis required. No spiritual credential needed. Just you, as you are.
"The first act of healing is allowing yourself to be seen."
